City of Bones Casting!

Okay, so, recently I was reading City of Bones, by Cassandra Clair, again. While reading it I decided there must absolutely be a well made movie made out of the books. After youtube-ing and finding an amazing fan made movie trailer, I decided it would be a most excellent idea to create my own cast list. So here it is:

Clary:

Alexz Johnson

I think Alexz would make an absolutely wonderful Clary Fray! She seems to have a toned down beauty that while is noticable it's in the first thing you see when entering a room.

Simon:

Kristopher Turner

I think that hands down Kristopher would make an exceptional Simon. He has that awkward air about him, but you can tell that when the time comes, he will make one sexy vampire!

Jace:

Alex Pettyfer

Can you honestly look at this and not see a sarcastic smart-ass angel with demon blood? Just seeing him gives you the willies. Hands down, by far, I see Alex as the best Jace possible.

Jocelyn:

Bryce Dallas Howard

I've seen a lot of people nominated for this spot, but none of then quite worked how I wanted them to. When I found Bryce via google, a great place indeed, I just knew she was perfect. She has the eyes of a loving mother with a past well hidden.

Alec:

Drew Fuller

I think this is one of the most amazingly wonderful replicas I have found of any book character, in real world people. (sorry if that didn't make sense) anyway Drew is perfect!Just look at him!

Isabelle:

Willa Holland

I found out just how hard it was to find actors with black hair who weren't asian. So I went with the safe alternate of brown, hair color aside I think Willa is perfect. Wouldn't you turn your head if she walked into the room? Though admittedly I have no idea how tall she is, that could be the deciding factor.

Maryse:

Jenifer Garner

I think Jenifer has that kind of "I'm still attractive, but I am a mom." Look to her, or at least she could easily. Plus she is very similar looking to Willa, who I chose as Isabelle.

Luke:

Hugh Jackman

I think Hugh is perfect! he has that, moms best friend look to him. I would have loved to have grown up with this guy around! Plus, you can just see the hint of wolf in his eyes. (there are better pictures available that look less like drew fuller)

Raphael:

Avan Jogia

I think that Avan is pretty close to what I first thought of Raphael to look like. He has that good kid look, but fierce underlying depths, just waiting for the veil to be lifted.

Valentine:

Ralph Fiennes

I think that Ralph has that kind of sinister air about him. He also had the role as Voldemort and I think would make a great Valentine. Can't you just see him with the white hair? Isn't it great?

Hodge:

Bill Nighy

Do I really have to say anything? Really?

Max:

Christopher Cox

Isn't he just perfect? Just put some glasses on and you're good to go.

Magnus Bane:

Adam Lambert

I think Adam is perfect for the role of Magnus! All he needs is the rainbow leather pants and he he's good to go! Alternates could be Bill Kaulitz and maybe Chris Angel, but he's not my first choice. Though Joe Jonas could be a stunt double for Adam...it's scary to think about.

Sebastian Verlac:

Cameron Bright

I think that Cameron is really close to what Sebastian is supposed to look like, though honestly, he could use some work. But he doesn't need a ton. Plus he does look similar to Alec. Hey, if Drew doesn't work out Cameron could always step up and take his place, haha.

Aline Penhallow:

Katie Leung

Well yes. She did make a kick ass Cho Chang after all. She has those striking features and that Asian lookingness. haha. When I first heard her described, this is who I though of immediately. Besides, I think she's have fun showing her more, blunt, side. Don't you?

Maia:

Jurnee Smollett

I think she would make a quite satisfactory Maia. I don't know if this is how she still looks, but I think this works. I also this Gabrielle Union might work well too.

WOOT! Finally finished! Actually, I don't have Robert Lightwood here. I didn't him in because I couldn't find anyone proper for it. Sorry about the him missing, if you can think of anyone good let me know.

Actually, feed back on this at all would be most excellent!

Haha, not that I have any fallowers, perhaps someday though.
